Global Lifting Services [NIGERIA] Ltd.

Incorporated in May 2002, Global Lifting Services Nigeria Limited was set up to render services of unequalled international standards in lifting equipment test/examination, certification and provision of lifting equipment supplies.

The foundation of Global Lifting Services Nigeria Limited is based on Global Lifting Services Limited, Aberdeen, who have provided testing and rigging services to the oil industry since 1979 & managed by a team with over eighty years combined experience in the lifting equipment industry.

Philosophy: Global Lifting Services have a flat management structure utilising well qualified & equipped personnel capable of taking fast, efficient and effective decisions. This philosophy has engendered an excellent and verifiable customer satisfaction record as well as a reputation of providing rapid, time-conscious and effective service delivery.

Capability:

Tools: Because our work requires precision, speed and traceability, we naturally use the best tools to enable us achieve our aims efficiently and ensure client satisfaction at all times.

Equipment: All relevant equipment are calibrated and maintained according to manufacturers’ requirements as well as relevant standards.

Software: We have developed software in-house, for the management of certification. Electronic transfer of reports and certificates, posting of test and inspection reports on the internet and online updating of reports are possible with this software. This reduces delays from the time the work is carried out to the time the completed report is received.

Personnel: Personnel involved in our operations/inspections are all qualified and competent. Many of them are qualified on Non Destructive Testing and certified by Lifting Equipment Engineers Association – LEEA.

Quality Management: Our business procedures and processes ensure that all physical, human and financial resources are used in an efficient and environmentally friendly manner to ensure our quality standards are consistently achieved.

Our quality management system focuses on assurance of customer satisfaction, through in-depth understanding of operating conditions of lifting gear, the precision of our test / examination processes and procedures as well as continuously improving the quality of our service and product delivery in accordance to customer need.

Global Lifting Services quality management system has been approved by LRQA to BS EN ISO 9001:2000, Approval Certificate No. 095973, which covers a range of Lifting services including inspection, maintenance, test and manufacture. Global Lifting Services are fully registered on the First Point Assessment Database as supplier Number 43389. We also have DNV TYPE APPROVAL CERTIFICATE – NO. S-4015 for wire rope slings for offshore containers..
